Mary T. Sise, LCSW, D.CEP, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Diplomate in Comprehensive Energy Psychology. In addition to being traditionally trained and a former adjunct professor at Siena College, she integrates Energy Psychology into her private practice in Albany, New York. She is the Past-President of the Board of Directors for the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). Mary has presented both nationally and internationally, including her one-day course Integrating Energy Psychology into the Treatment of Trauma and an 8-week on-line course developed through NICABM on treating trauma. She has produced two videos for professionals: “Transforming Trauma Using Thought Field Therapy” and “Transforming the Trauma of the World Trade Center.” She also produced a video for the general public: “Thought Field Therapy for Stress Management and Peak Performance.”
A former adjunct professor at Siena College, she has produced numerous training videos, teaches an eight week on-line course in trauma and energy psychology for the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine and is the co-author of The Energy of Belief: Psychology's Power Tools to Focus Intention & Release Blocking Beliefs.
Mary is a student of Her Holiness Sai Maa and teaches programs for Sai Maa on the Spiritual Dimension of Health and Healing. Mary has also trained in qigong with Chinese Grandmaster Professor Xu and Master Nan Lu. In 2004 she started The Center for Integrative Psychotherapy as a way to sponsor conferences and trainings on topics that integrate mind/body and spirit. Mary provides personal counseling to guide clients to overcome trauma and blockages, as well as to shift "broken record" thinking patterns that can keep an individual in a repetitive negative cycle that is detrimental to the physical and mental health. Mary has trained hundreds of clinicians to date, and continues to instruct and guide new clinicians in her periodic TAB Training programs. Mary is a consultant for the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) certification program. She offers monthly group supervision meetings that provide support, additional instruction, and guidance to those using her methods with their clients. In 2007, Mary and colleague Sheila Bender released The Energy of Belief: Psychology's Power Tools to Focus Intention & Release Blocking Beliefs. During the past decade, Mary has lectured at national and international conferences. Her warm, witty, and authentic approach makes her a frequently sought after speaker.
